CMC Africa Awards is here again!
As time ticks so fast, it reminds us all that the 2019 CMC Africa Awards is just few days away. The award ceremony which is in its fourth year is organized by Cornel Entertainment. Since its debut four years ago, the organizing committee has worked tirelessly to seeing that the objective of the event is not abdicated. The CMC Africa awards is inspired by the need to honour many who continually work in the cockpit striving hard that the country’s flag is constantly flown at high mast. CMC Africa Awards is here again!
On Sunday 25th August, 2019, Kingcelia Hotel at Jibowu, Lagos will be hosting high powered delegation consisting of top government officials, senior military officers, entertainment icons and media exponents. The CMC Africa Awards is fast becoming the stable of the Lagos entertainment slogan: Eko for Show! attracting the very best brains in the land and drawing the attention of the media like no other event in the Land. CMC Africa Awards is here again!
This year’s theme is GALVANISING NEW FRAMEWORK IN TACKLING SECURITY CHALLENGES, one that best exemplifies the sensitive nature of security as it concerns human lives and the veritable deployment of modern tools in curbing the upsurge of crimes in the Land. Billed to speak on this topic is our keynote speaker, the Executive Governor of the state, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu. It is the hope of the organisers that the topic will raise the bar for continuous conversation around the subject matter of insecurity that has crept in as a terrible nightmare in the broad day light activities of the country.
As it is known, the CMC Africa Awards offer more than just political discourse. It also promises exquisite fun all the way. Similarly, there would be an overdose of laughter and fine blend of music from the best artiste in the country.
According to the Convener of the CMC Africa Awards, Ambassador Cornell Udofia, an ace publicist and entertainment guru, ‘We can assuredly tell everyone that cares to listen that we are ready to host this year’s CMC Africa Awards. We are not relenting our efforts to bring the best to the Nigerian society by celebrating the best of the best in fields such as arts, tourism, media, fashion, security, commerce and industry. As it has become our custom, we would be hosting to the banquet that day, leading figures in the country. CMC Africa Awards is about the best and that is what we promise to be. Because we can’t offer anything less.’
The event will be strictly by invitation and the event kicks off by 3:00pm prompt.
