Comrade Solomon Oladimeji received an award of personality during the maiden Edition of Ifako Ijaiye Personality awards 2021.

In a statement made available to 1plus1Entertainment, Mr Solomon Oladimeji said: "CONGRATULATIONS TO ME!

It's an honor for me to have been awarded the Youth Influencer of the Year at the maiden edition of the Ifako Ijaiye Personality Awards 2021 for my contributions to the growth of not just the Local Government but also Lagos State and Nigeria by training and mentoring youth and adults in various skills acquisition programs since 2011 that I founded Train A Youth Initiative (TAYI) and we have trained 3,090 people since we started the NGO".

He gave briefing about the initiative and he said:

At Train A Youth Initiative (TAYI), we promise to continue to organize programs and trainings that will aid the development of the people as well as making our Nation great.

He further expressed his gratitude and called it an honor to be recognized in line with the local government chairman and the like. He said: 

"It's such an honor to share the same stage with great leaders in Ifako Ijaiye especially our amiable LG Chairman, Usman Akanbi Hamzat.

I dedicate this award to my Team at Train A Youth Initiative (TAYI) as well all the kids, youth and adults in Nigeria".

Mr Solomon Oladimeji who derives pleasure in touching the lives of the youths also dedicated this prestigious award to late Mr Sylvester Oromoni, the 12year old boy who was allegedly beating to death by his fellow students and the 17 students that were crushed by an heavy duty vehicle. He said:

 "While accepting the award on the podium, I also dedicated it to Sylvester Oromoni, the 12 year old boy that died on the 30th of November 2021 as a result of being bullied at Dowen College, I also dedicated the award to the 17 students that were crushed to death yesterday in Ojodu by a truck. These kids were the future of Nigeria but were cut in their prime (May their souls rest in peace)".

In conclusion he expressed his utmost gratitude to the organizers and his beautiful wife for being there for him all the time.

"I thank the organizers of this prestigious awards for putting up an amazing event and I also thank my beautiful wife for being there always".
