The 9th Edition of Ogo Yoruba Awards (Oya Awards) as organized by the chief Executive officer, Ambassador Wale Adeoba (Mr Packaging), had indelible mark on the sands of time. 

According to the convener of Ogo Yoruba Awards, Mr Packaging, while addressing the press said: The credible award is positioned in celebrating glory beyond heritage and culture as an exclusive event inculcated to unite and amplify Nigerians that meant well for the nation irrespective of tribe, culture and tradition. Thus: this is not limited to the Yorubas alone. It's a platform opened for all Nigerian Stars, Entertainers and others who strives in their various endeavours to see to the growth of the Nigerian Economy to showcase their talents, creativities and be rewarded respectively through Oya Awards.

The 9th Edition of this prestigious Award (Oya) is unique as there were exclusive lectures by great personalities who graced the occasion. The person of sir, Chief Jimi AGBAJE who was the chief host and Oba Onipokia who was the royal father of the day.

There were excellent performances by the guest Artists and musicians to entertain the audience and everyone was well entertained. Amongst the guests artists were: Alhaji Sulaimon Adio Atawewe, Dele Gold, Ere Asalatu, King Jide Harmony, Jiron, Lildex, Black Edge Productions and many more.

Most of the people in attendance were adorned in colourful African Attire "Ankara/ Aso-Ebi" that made the event to radiate gliz and glamour at the 9th Ogo Yoruba Awards ceremony.

The prestigious event, Ogo Yoruba Awards 9th Edition, (OYA 2021) took place at the NUT Pavillion Event Centre, Plot 5, Block B, NERDC Road, Beside Tisco Plaza, By African Shrine, Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos on Sunday December 5th, 2021.

The Ogo Yoruba Awards popularly known as OYA which started nine (9) years ago on a good note has become a global brand embraced by many across the globe. The industry watchers have noted that the 2022 edition will be the bigger and better to beat and copy in this part of the world. Wale Adeoba said.

The event was anchored by

Gbenga Adeyinka D1st, ace radio broadcasters, Bewaji Adekunle (JP) and Alimat Adesola (LASGIDI FM) 

The special guests in attendance were the distinguished HRM Oba Olusola Adeniyi Olaniyan ARIWIGBADE OSHIGIN II, Onipokia of Ipokia, Chief Jimi Agbaje, Hon Shina Peller, Hon Segun Olulade ELENIYAN, Gbenga Adeyinka D1st, Chief Olumide Falola (SWEET ESTATE BOSS), Otunba Koiku Ayinde Adeshina, Mr Soji Pele Clement, Olushola Olatunji Sholaja, Hon Idris Aregbe and others; they all graced the 9TH OGO YORUBA AWARDS 2021.

In Mr Packaging's remarks he said:

The just concluded event still echoes the great culture of the Yoruba race in Nigeria. Anticipate for a bigger Oya Awards in 2022.
